Basil has a number of mounting solutions depending on what basket or bag you choose. The variety of options are listed below.

Front Baskets

1. BasEasy System Handlebar Holder EC (BB 70122)

The BasEasy System Handlebar Holder EC is a click-system for removable baskets & bags. A holder is attached to the handleber with which the basket can be easily and quickly clicked on and off with the quick release system. Comes standard with fitting that allow fitting to handlebars with diameter up to 31.8mm. A number of internal bands are supplied with the holder to fit on smaller diameter handlebars. This option is perfect for bikes that have mountain style headsets where there is no room to mount the standard stem holder. Maximum load is 5kg.

2. BasEasy System II Holder (22-26mm) (BB 70103)

The BasEasy System II Holder is a click-system for removable baskets & bags. A holder is attached to the steering stem with which the basket can be easily and quickly clicked on and off with the quick release system. Comes standard with a 22-26mm stainless steel band for the handlebar stem. If the standard 22-26mm fitting is not correct, you can purchase larger stainless steel bands from the choices below. Maximum load is 5kg.

BasEasy System II Holder Adaptors

Various size bands are available if the standard 22-26mm band that comes with the BB 70103 is the wrong size. Sizes available are 25-30mm (BB 70110), 31-35mm (BB70111) & 36-40mm (BB 70112). RRP = $10

3. BasEasy System II 'Dahon" Holder (BB 70114)

The BasEasy-system has an adaptor (BB 70114) for Dahon bicycles that feature the 2 bolt holes on the front head tube. RRP = $59

Pannier Bags

1. Hooks

This is a very simple system and a favourite. Hooks on the back of the bags 'hook' over the edge of the rack. This makes it a very quick on/off system.

2. Solen-System

A suspension system that consists of slidable hooks which 6-16mm tubes, a locking button, lock and a unique 'rail-disk-system'. The 'disk' is mounted on the luggage carrier stay, the rail which is mounted on the bottom of the bag fits the 'disk' preventing the bag from swinging (patent pending)!

3. Straps

A webbing system is used to mount and secure the bags. Universal and easy to use.

Rear Baskets

1. BasSolid-System

The BasSolid has been designed in such a way that it is adjustable in width, suits 6-20mm tube diameters and even fits tapering carriers with heightened backs. The system is pre-mounted and needs to be adjusted to the carrier width only once. A smartly designed handle activates a clever lever mechanism which allows the baskets to be clipped to a carrier quickly, firmly and 'blindly'. In addition, the system is provided with a lock.
